The END? It’s been 377 comics + some bonus strips and it’s taken almost three years but this is the end. Well, possibly for Roland. Despite the slight cliffhanger there with Fenrir, this is the last time you’ll see Roland (except maybe in “deleted scenes” or something similar) for at least a year.
I’m going to take a small break and move the site away from GoDaddy. If all goes well, Shattered Myth will return on Monday, February 6, 2012. Then we start in on the Shattered Myth: Spotlight stories. I’ll have more announcements on that soon. I’ve seen some of the work this team is putting together and you guys are gonna be blown away.
If you’re a regular reader, I just want to say thank you. I never expected to be able to create something that so many of you would read, stick with and in some cases, even enjoy! It’s been great and I truly appreciate the support.
I’ll be around the whole time, posting the Spotlight content and even drawing one of them. And you’re NOW FREE to ask me any questions you may have about the Mythoscape, the characters, the story, the plot holes, etc. …and I promise to answer most of them.
Wow, just wow. Can’t wait for February to find out where things are going to go from here. Man, a year with out Roland and Fenrir! Things are definitely going to change in the Mythoscape. 20 years, I always forget this started in the 90′s, what huge jump and a major change for Roland. If you get bored you could always make a once a week story of Roland getting used to life 20 years later. Lots of changes took place, especially in his family.
I know I haven’t commented as much as I needed to, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this story and Roland has been the pivotal point of it, so it’ll be neat and sad to see the story continue without him.
Thanks for the kind words! I know I said it’d be Roland’s last story but you know, eventually, he’ll be back in the strip somehow. But certainly not for the next year. Time to let the Gods shine!
